Description
The 10 Hour Construction Safety Certification Training Program is intended to provide an entry level construction worker’s general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. OSHA recommends Safety Certification Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a 10-hour Construction Safety Certification completion card instantly.

- List the OSHA inspection priorities and describe the inspection process

What is 10 Hour Construction Safety Certification?
The 10 hour construction safety certification is part of the OSHA outreach training program. The program teaches participants how to determine, avoid and prevent safety and health hazards in the workplace. This also includes an overview of worker rights and the responsibilities of employers and how workers can file complaints. The certification is meant for workers who need to remain current with OSHA safety requirements. This includes construction workers, foremen, job supervisors, site inspectors, job supervisors etc. At the end of the course, students gets a 10 hour card but first they need to spend at least 10.25 hours completing the online course and other materials. The 10 hour course differs from the 30 hour course in that the latter goes more in depth and offers a variety of training on an expanded topic list. This includes an overview of workplace hazards in different industries.

The 10 Hour Construction Safety Certification with Free Study Guide is designed to provide all entry level workers in construction an awareness of common hazards. Safety certification programs should be seen as orientations on common workplace hazards for workers who are covered by OSHA.
However, workers must also receive additional training on specific job hazards pertaining to their industries. Upon successful completion, each student receives a completion card. The course is designed to be taken online and workers can choose the topics they want to be proficient in.
